Your Financial Support is More Important Than Ever

Your Financial Support is More Important Than Ever

The role of school board members has never been more important as we see the attacks on public education escalate over recent years. There are multiple efforts in Missouri to divert needed resources away from our local public schools to private and religious schools. Direct attempts like vouchers and indirect attempts like tax credits undermine the critical ideal of free, high quality public education available to every child in our state.

Please consider making a financial donation to St. Charles County Families for Public Schools today. We need your help to support and encourage our teachers and staff and to protect our local schools.

Your contribution will support local school board candidates who recognize that we need quality public schools and believe in the work of our teachers and staff. We’ll help those who concentrate on academic achievement and provide opportunities for all our students rather than promoting the narrow and divisive culture wars. We’ll assist candidates who believe that public money should be used for public schools. We will also research strategies and key messages to motivate citizens who support our public schools to vote in the April school board elections.

At a time when so much seems to divide us, our public schools unite our communities and bring us together. Public education is worth fighting for. Thriving communities need quality public schools. Your financial support will ensure that we have strong public school communities.

Congratulations Graduates!

It’s the beginning of summer and for school-aged kids and their parents, it’s a welcome time to slow the pace and take on different activities. St. Charles County has so much to offer-parks, pools, lakes, biking and hiking trails, camps, fabulous restaurants, summer workshops and classes. We are truly blessed to live in a county that offers such a variety of fun activities.

The end of year is also a special time at each of our county high schools. Each held a graduation ceremony and celebration to acknowledge their senior class of graduates. Graduations and end of the year celebrations are always festive and hearing the post high school plans of the students is extremely inspirational. The careers to which these students aspire is exciting and shows great promise for our county, country and world. Congratulations to all of the counties’ graduates!
