Quarterly Message

June 2023

SCCFFPS has been in existence since January 2023, and as with most new endeavors, we have learned a lot in trying to fully form our identity. We have increased our outreach using Facebook, our email contacts and website. We are continuing our outreach effort by sending a quarterly newsletter to update everyone on our endeavors to find qualified school board candidates and assisting them in executing a successful campaign.

Recently we met with some allied groups with whom we have mutually shared interests. Our hope is to unify our efforts to thwart extremists from taking over the governing of our local school districts. We continue to support public schools as welcoming places for all students and families – not just for those who ascribe to a partirnlar agenda. In particular, those who attempt to support open enrollment and vouchers and diminish the value of our greatest asset – our teachers.

We value what each of you has contributed to this important work. Our mission of protecting our schools is critical to the progress of our St. Charles Communities, and we need all who have the time and interest to assist us. We welcome feedback and input as we begin our work on the 2024 elections.

We hope that everyone has a chance this summer to enjoy all that our beautiful county offers.
